==Geography==

As of the [[census]]<ref name="GR2" /> of 2000, there were 171 people, 66 households, and 47 families residing in the CDP. The [[population density]] was 21.8 people per square mile (8.4/km<sup>2</sup>). There were 82 housing units at an average density of 10.5/sq&nbsp;mi (4.0/km<sup>2</sup>). The racial makeup of the CDP was 57.89% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 40.94% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 1.17% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]].

There were 66 households, out of which 33.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.1% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 10.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.3% were non-families. 21.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 16.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.59 and the average family size was 3.04.

In the CDP, the population was spread out, with 26.3% under the age of 18, 3.5% from 18 to 24, 26.9% from 25 to 44, 21.1% from 45 to 64, and 22.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 41 years. For every 100 females, there were 92.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.1 males.

The median income for a household in the CDP was $43,542, and the median income for a family was $45,000. Males had a median income of $21,875 versus $26,786 for females.
