The racial makeup of the city was 94.21% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 4.87% [[Black (U.S. Census)|Black]] or [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.23% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 0.70% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.51% of the population.
