The population density was {{convert|200.5|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}.  There were 176 housing units at an average density of {{convert|95.1|/sqmi|/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}.  The racial makeup of the city was 81.67% [[Race (United States Census)|White]], 0.81% [[Race (United States Census)|Black]] or [[Race (United States Census)|African American]], 7.55% [[Race (United States Census)|Asian]], 5.66% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 4.31% from two or more races.  6.47% of the population were [[Race (United States Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Race (United States Census)|Latino]] of any race.

There were 140 households, out of which 32.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.7% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 19.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.0% were non-families. 20.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.  The average household size was 2.65 and the average family size was 3.04.

In the city, the population was spread out, with 26.7% under the age of 18, 11.3% from 18 to 24, 26.1% from 25 to 44, 22.9% from 45 to 64, and 12.9% who were 65 years of age or older.  The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females, there were 92.2 males.  For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.2 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $25,625, and the median income for a family was $27,875. Males had a median income of $18,750 versus $18,036 for females. About 20.9% of families and 22.1% of the population were below the [[poverty line]], including 38.0% of those under age 18 and 22.5% of those age 65 or over.
