The community is located in southern Greene County, 1.5 miles north of the Greene - [[Christian County, Missouri|Christian]] county line. [[Missouri Route FF]] passes through the community. The [[population density]] was {{convert|2236.0|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 2,210 housing units at an average density of {{convert|884.0|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 92.8% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.5% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.5% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 2.1% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.7% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 2.4% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 2.7% of the population.
