The racial makeup of the town was 85.6% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 11.1% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], and 3.4% from two or more races. [[Amtrak]]’s [[Empire Builder]], which operates between [[Seattle]]/[[Portland, Oregon|Portland]] and [[Chicago]], passes through the town on [[BNSF Railway|BNSF]] tracks, but makes no stop. The [[Williston station|nearest station]] is located in [[Williston, North Dakota|Williston]], {{convert|28|mi}} to the east.
