It is {{convert|34|mi|km}} to the north of [[Holy Cross, Alaska|Holy Cross]]. There is a public [[Anvik Airport]] (ANV) with a {{convert|2,960|ft|m|adj=on}} gravel runway located {{convert|1|mi|km|spell=in}} southeast of downtown Anvik. The Anvik Connector is a trail, designated a [[National Trails System#National Connecting and Side Trails|national side trail]], which links the community to the [[Iditarod Trail]] {{convert|86|mi|0}} to the east. The average age was 30.14 and the median age was 28.5 years, compared to 32.4 for the entire state. There were 57 males (35 over 18) and 47 females (29 over 18).
