The racial makeup of Angwin was 50.9% [[White Americans|White]], 4.1% [[African Americans|African American]], 0.9% [[Native Americans in the United States|Native American]], 6.2% [[Asian Americans|Asian]], 0.2% [[Pacific Islander Americans|Pacific Islander]], 25.3% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 12.4% from two or more races. The census reported that 77.3% of the population lived in households, 22.7% lived in non-institutionalized group quarters, and no one was institutionalized.
