Later she came to [[Brittany]] from Celtic [[Gaul]] and was believed to be a goddess of hot springs and the origin of the Anglo-Celtic sun goddess, [[Sul (deity)|Sul]].

This theonym appears to be derived from [[Proto-Celtic]] *''Ad-sūg-lat-ā''.
