The population density was 1,455 inhabitants per square mile. The racial makeup of the city was 80.2% Non-Hispanic [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 3.9% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.1% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 6.3% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.1% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 5.4% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] residents of any race were 4.9% of the population.

There were 29,311 households, with an average household size of 2.19. 6.6% of residents were under the age of 5, 22.1% of residents were under the age of 18 and 13.9% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 50.3% male and 49.7% female.

The per capita income was $49,286, and median household income was $76,564. 96.6% of residents age 25 and older were high school graduates, and 53.7% had a bachelor's degree or higher.
