==Virgin Music Publishers== Soon after Virgin Records was founded, the label created a [[music publisher (popular music)|music publisher]] for its artists who also served as songwriters. Starting in the 1980s, Virgin Music signed songwriters from other record labels. After Virgin was acquired by EMI, the publisher was folded into [[EMI Music Publishing]] as EMI Virgin Music.
