Troy's first school, a one-room schoolhouse, was built in 1894.<ref name=":0" /> In 1937, the Bull Lake School in Bull Lake Valley and Fall Creek School by Schoolhouse Lake were consolidated into the Troy public school district.<ref name=":3" /> The public school district includes:<ref name=":2" />
