Although Thomasville is located in Davidson County, it has its own public school system. The [[Thomasville City Schools (North Carolina)|Thomasville City Schools system]] consists of four schools: Thomasville Primary (K–3), Liberty Drive Elementary (4–5), Thomasville Middle School (6–8), Thomasville High School (9–12).
