Telemarketing in Canada is regulated by the [[Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission]] (CRTC), an agency of the federal department [[Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada]]. Canadians can register with the National Do Not Call List (DNCL) to reduce the number of telemarketing calls received.<ref>[http://crtc.gc.ca/eng/phone/telemarketing/] ''National DNCL''.</ref> Anyone who has received a telemarketing call which is in violation of one or more of the Unsolicited Telecommunications Rules may file a complaint to the national DNCL.
