==Legacy== The DPA set up a Lady Sayer Land Purchase Fund after her retirement as chairman in 1973. It was used in 1984 to purchase 32 acres of land at Sharpitor, near [[Burrator Reservoir]], in celebration of the successful fight against the Swincombe reservoir.<ref>{{cite web |url=http://www.dartmoorpreservation.com/about-the-dpa/land/285-the-sharpitor-story |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20150813165741/http://dartmoorpreservation.com/about-the-dpa/land/285-the-sharpitor-story |url-status=usurped |archive-date=13 August 2015 |title=The Sharpitor Story |last=Ashbrook|first=Kate |publisher=Dartmoor Preservation Association |date=July 2007|access-date=4 September 2015}}</ref> As of March 2013 the fund held about Β£29,400.<ref>DPA AGM Papers 2012 β 2013, p.9. in ''Dartmoor Matters''. [...] No modern history of Dartmoor would be valid without reference to her, but quite naturally reactions to her actions and statements divided the world of Dartmoor stakeholders for 50 years.}}
