As of March 2011, there were a total of 1,349 registered voters in Sandyston Township, of which 193 (14.3% vs. 16.5% countywide) were registered as [[Democratic Party (United States)|Democrats]], 662 (49.1% vs. 39.3%) were registered as [[Republican Party (United States)|Republicans]] and 492 (36.5% vs. 44.1%) were registered as [[Unaffiliated (New Jersey)|Unaffiliated]].
