The trailhead for the [[Raccoon River Valley Trail]] is located at in Panora.

Veterans Auditorium was built during the 1930s, and was dedicated by [[WHO (AM)|WHO radio]] sports announcer [[Ronald Reagan]]. Veterans Auditorium is the only extant structure of the original Panora-Linden High School building, which was removed from the [[National Register of Historic Places listings in Iowa#Guthrie County|National Listing of Historic Places]] upon its destruction in 1991.<ref name=PanoraHistory/><ref>{{cite web |url=http://www.panora.org/area-history.html |title=History of the Panora Area |work=Panora.org website |access-date=February 4, 2014 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20140222195132/https://panora.org/area-history.html |archive-date=February 22, 2014}}</ref> The Panora Community Center is attached to Veterans Auditorium.
