===Quayside=== [[File:Quayside, Newcastle upon Tyne.jpg|thumb|Quayside architecture, showing the historic [[Guildhall, Newcastle upon Tyne|Newcastle Guildhall]] with its white turret]] The area around the [[River Tyne|Tyne]] Gorge, between Newcastle on the north bank and [[Gateshead]] on the south bank, is the famous Newcastle-Gateshead [[Quayside]].
