The '''Linwood Historic District''' is a {{convert|111|acre|adj=on}} [[historic district (United States)|historic district]] within the city along Maple and Poplar avenues, and Shore Road. It was added to the [[National Register of Historic Places]] on July 13, 1989 for its significance in architecture and social history. The Masonic Temple was built {{circa|1890}} and features [[Doric column]]s. The district also includes [[Linwood Borough School No. 1]], listed individually on the NRHP in 1984.<ref name="nrhpdoc"/>
