==Government== Lemoore is incorporated as a general law city under the [[California Constitution]]. The city has a [[council-manager]] government with a [[city manager]] appointed by the [[city council]]. The city council is made up of five members. The mayor and mayor pro tem are elected by the city council from among its members. On December 6, 2022, the city council elected Patricia Matthews as mayor.
