== Lakes of the Lake Agassiz basin == Numerous lakes have formed in this glacial lake basin. The best known are the ''Great Lakes of Manitoba''; [[Lake Winnipeg]], [[Lake Manitoba]], and [[Lake Winnipegosis]].
