===Obesity and metabolic syndrome===

Ketosis can improve markers of [[metabolic syndrome]] through reduction in serum [[triglyceride]]s, elevation in [[high-density lipoprotein]] (HDL) as well as increased size and volume of [[low-density lipoprotein]] (LDL) particles.
