There are two railway lines that pass through [[Kalaburagi Junction railway station|Kalaburagi]] namely, [[Mumbai–Chennai line]] ([[Solapur–Guntakal section]]) and [[Kalaburagi Junction railway station|Kalaburagi]] - [[Bidar railway station|Bidar]] line.

[[Kalaburagi Junction railway station|Kalaburagi]] is directly linked through daily trains with [[Mumbai]], [[Bangalore]], [[Hyderabad]], [[Chennai]], [[Itarsi Junction railway station|Itarsi Junction]], [[Mysore]], [[Hassan, Karnataka|Hassan]], [[Hubli]], [[Vijayawada]], [[Coimbatore]], [[Kochi]], [[Kanyakumari]] etc.
