* [[Block settlement]]s, such as [[Gush Etzion]] and settlements in the [[Nablus]] area.
* Frontier villages, such as those along the Jordan River.
* [[Israeli outpost|Outposts]], small settlements, some authorized and some unauthorized, often on hilltops.
