It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places October 15, 1966, reference# 66000183. * '''Gila Bend Overpass''' β The overpass was built in 1933β34. It is located on the Business Route 8 over the [[Southern Pacific Transportation Company|Southern Pacific]] railroad line. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places on October 15, 1966, reference# 88001607. * The '''Gila Bend Steam Locomotive Water Stop''' β was built in 1900 and is located near Murphy Street. * '''[[Gillespie Dam Bridge|Gillespie Dam Highway Bridge]]''' β Northwest of Gila Bend. The bridge was built in 1927 over the Gila River and is located on Old Highway 80 north of Gila Bend and south of Arlington between the Buckeye Hills and the Gila Bend Mountains in Maricopa County. The bridge was at the time the longest highway bridge in the state of Arizona.
