He died in England on 30 November 1675, aged 70 years. A plaque commemorating Cecil Calvert was placed in St. Giles's in 1996 by the [[Governor of Maryland]]. However, genealogists for Kiplin Hall state, "A number of the early Calverts were buried at St Giles in the Fields, [[Charing Cross Road]], London.
