===Big Brook Park=== This site is being addressed through state and local department and funds and is not a superfund clean-up site. In 1997, the Monmouth County Park System bought 378 acre of the closed Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital land. The intent is to create a regional park, similar to Holmdel Park. It is also expected to be home to part of the Henry Hudson Trail.), pesticide mixing building, fuel oil underground storage tank, and construction debris. This evaluation made the following recommendations to the NJDEP: *Tank storage closure and removal—Excavation of surficial soils along with post excavation sampling *Removal of septic systems *Asbestos abatement *Wetlands restoration
