== Legacy and commemoration ==

[[Eilat]]'s [[promenade]] was named for him and there is a life-size statue of him there. The [[community settlement (Israel)|community settlement]] of [[Merhav Am]] and the [[West Bank]] [[Israeli settlement|settlement]] [[Ma'ale Rehav'am]] also bear his name.
