[[West Baton Rouge Parish School Board]] operates area public schools.

Holy Family School (of the [[Roman Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge]]) is a local private Catholic school for grades pre-K through Eight. It opened on September 5, 1949 with 146 students in Kindergarten through grade 3, with it becoming K-5 in 1950, and with one grade level per subsequent year until it was K-8, with 345 students, in 1953.
