===Elections===
Elections in Malawi have been held every five years since 1994. Past election years in Malawi were in [[Malawian general election, 1994|1994]], [[Malawian general election, 1999|1999]], [[Malawian general election, 2004|2004]], [[Malawian general election, 2009|2009]], [[Malawian general election, 2009|2009]], [[2014 Malawian general election|2014]] and the last one held in May [[2019 Malawian general election|2019.]]
