The town had a population of 8,348&nbsp;people in 2010, a decrease of 20.3% from the previous census.<ref name="rogers"/> Palm Beach celebrated its centennial on April&nbsp;17, 2011. The FBI conducted [[FBI search of Mar-a-Lago|a search warrant at Mar-a-Lago]] on August&nbsp;8, 2022, approved by [[United States magistrate judge|Magistrate Judge]] Bruce Reinhart after a criminal referral by the [[National Archives and Records Administration]] relating to classified documents. Although former president Donald Trump surrendered 235&nbsp;classified documents by June&nbsp;2022, the search at Mar-a-Lago yielded another 102&nbsp;such documents.
