In a review of over 5,000 cases of [[Bladder stone (animal)|urate urolithiasis]] in the US the Ocicat had a much higher incidence rate than most other breeds with an odds ratio of 16.8.<ref name="pmid22443437">{{cite journal |last1=Albasan |first1=H. |last2=Osborne |first2=C.
