The park's many hiking trails, historic sites and natural features were the inspiration for the Arkansas State Parks system and continue to draw many visitors to the area. White Auditorium is on the campus of [[Morrilton High School (Arkansas)|Morrilton High School]]. It serves as the main auditorium for the school district and hosts public events. * UACCM Fine Arts Auditorium is on the campus of the [[University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton]].
