==Personal life== Max von Sydow married actress Christina Inga Britta Olin in 1951. They had two sons. The couple divorced in 1979.<ref name=LATimesObit/> Von Sydow married French documentarian Catherine Brelet in 1997 and adopted Brelet's two adult sons from her previous marriage.<ref name=LATimesObit/><ref name=GuardianObit/> Sydow relocated to Paris following his marriage to Brelet.
