Massilion is home to [[St. Mary's Catholic Church (Massillon, Ohio)|St. Mary's Catholic Church]]. It held the US shrine to [[Dymphna|St. Dymphna]] until, on August 4, 2015, a fire broke out in the church, ultimately destroying a baptistery and the shrine.
