==Commemoration as a saint==

Also in the [[Calendar of Saints (Lutheran)|Calendar of Saints]] of the [[Lutheran Church]], 29 July is the date of the commemoration of Mary (together with Martha and Lazarus), as is the case in the [[Calendar of saints (Episcopal Church in the United States of America)|Calendar of saints]] of the [[Episcopal Church (United States)|Episcopal Church]] and the [[Church of England]] (together with Martha).<ref>[http://www.oremus.org/calendar/index07.html July commemorations in the Anglican Church], Oremus.com.</ref>

She is commemorated in the [[Eastern Orthodox]] and [[Byzantine Rite]] [[Eastern Catholic]] Churches with her sister Martha on 4 June, as well as on the Sunday of the [[Myrrhbearers]] (the Third Sunday of [[Easter|Pascha]]). She also figures prominently in the commemorations on [[Lazarus Saturday]] (the day before [[Palm Sunday]]).
