As of March 2011, there were a total of 1,897 registered voters in Liberty Township, of which 386 (20.3% vs. 21.5% countywide) were registered as [[Democratic Party (United States)|Democrats]], 768 (40.5% vs. 35.3%) were registered as [[Republican Party (United States)|Republicans]] and 742 (39.1% vs. 43.1%) were registered as [[Unaffiliated (New Jersey)|Unaffiliated]].
