Sculley married Ruth, stepdaughter of PepsiCo president [[Donald M. Kendall|Donald Kendal]]l in 1960, with whom he had two children. In 2016, while visiting Japan, Sculley saw Steve Jobs's autograph in a sushi restaurant, and broke down in tears.
