Since 2012, small adjustments have been made to lists of categories and genre fields. In 2023, several key changed were announced for the [[66th Annual Grammy Awards]], set to take place in 2024. Three new categories were announced, bringing the total number to 94, the highest since the peak of 109 in 2010.
