The flag of the [[Church of Scotland]] is the flag of Scotland defaced with the [[burning bush]].

Several flags outside of the United Kingdom are based on the Scottish saltire. In Canada, an inverse representation of the flag (i.e. a blue saltire on a white field), combined with the shield from the [[Royal coat of arms of Scotland|royal arms of the Kingdom of Scotland]], forms the modern [[Flag of Nova Scotia|flag of the province of Nova Scotia]].
