Edmundson is served by the Edmundson Police Department, located at 4440 Holman Lane. Nine full-time officers protect this city.
Community Fire Protection District operates fire and EMS from its stations in neighboring Saint Ann and [[Woodson Terrace, Missouri|Woodson Terrace]] that serve Edmundson residents.
