Commercial crops primarily include apples, sweet cherries and pears. Apricots, peaches, nectarines, and plums are also grown. Wheat and other grain are also grown on farms in the outlying areas near East Wenatchee. The area's major shopping centers are [[Wenatchee Valley Mall]] and Valley North Mall.
