==Personal life== While performing at The Other Cafe in [[San Francisco]], Carvey met and became romantically involved with Paula Zwagerman. Dana and Paula became engaged in 1981 and married in 1983. The couple had two sons – Dex, born in 1991, and Thomas, born in 1994.
