According to the 2010 census, 80.9% of Corpus Christi's population was White; 4.3% was African American; 1.8% Asian; 0.1% Pacific Islander; 10.4% of some other race; and 2.5% of two or more [[Race (U.S. census)|races]]. By 2020, its racial and ethnic makeup was 30.21% non-Hispanic White, 3.91% Black or African American, 0.27% Native American, 2.37% Asian, 0.08% Pacific Islander, 0.36% some other race, 2.09% multiracial, and 60.71% Hispanic or Latino of any race.

In the same study, 51% of housing units were valued from under $100,000 to $200,000. The median gross rent was $1,230 and there was an average of 2.62 persons per household. The median household income was $66,325, and the per capita income was $33,579.
