The county's racial makeup was 85.6% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 3.74% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.26% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.95% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], and 5.95% from two or more races.
