Burnet is served by two primary highways:

[[Burnet Municipal Airport]], also known as Kate Craddock Field (ICAO Code KBMQ), is a general-aviation airport located about a mile south of State Highway 29 on U.S. Highway 281. It has a {{convert|5000|ft|adj=on}} lighted runway with a full-length taxiway, which can accommodate aircraft with up to {{convert|34000|lb}} per wheel.
