Blackwell has a public pool, Blackwell Memorial Pool, which has one of the state's 12 [[Statue of Liberty]] replicas installed by the [[Boy Scouts of America]] in 1951. The Blackwell Public Library offers a variety of community resources as well as events, classes, and workshops. The 9-hole "Blackwell" course at the Blackwell Municipal Golf Course facility opened in 1926. It features 3,143 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36.
