The racial makeup of the city was 48.45% [[Race (United States census)|White]], 1.28% [[Race (United States census)|Black]] or [[Race (United States census)|African American]], 1.28% [[Race (United States census)|Native American]], 1.07% [[Race (United States census)|Asian]], 0.06% [[Race (United States census)|Pacific Islander]], 43.09% from [[Race (United States census)|other races]], and 4.78% from two or more races.
