The concept of taking the teens to the [[silver screen]] has been floated since the program was taken on the air. He eventually talked the company into doing an animated movie instead to reestablish the characters first, with a future live-action movie still a possibility. Judge found it hard to replicate the characters' onscreen stupidity: "It was just sort of like watching teenagers imitate Beavis and Butt-Head."<ref name="Greene 2022 m641"/>
