Before assuming office, the [[President of Palestine]] take the following oath before the [[Palestinian Legislative Council|Legislative Council]] and in the presence of the [[Speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council|Speaker of the Palestinian National Council]] and the President of the High Court:
