Wimbledon lies in the south-west area of London, {{Convert|3|mi|km|spell=in}} south of [[Wandsworth]], {{Convert|2|mi|km|spell=in}} south-west of [[Tooting]], three miles west of [[Mitcham]], {{Convert|4|mi|km|spell=in}} north of [[Sutton, London|Sutton]] and {{Convert|3.5|mi|km}} east of [[Kingston upon Thames]], in [[Greater London]]. It is {{convert|7|mi|km|1}} south-west of [[Charing Cross]].
